A center for interdisciplinary learning in the heart of Silicon Valley

The SVC is a multi-disciplinary teaching and research hub, home to engineering faculty and researchers, professional master’s degree programs, hundreds of professional courses at UCSC Silicon Valley Extension, and year-round events. The campus also houses UC Scout, an online program providing UC-approved high school courses, and Smarter Balanced, a nationwide organization that works with educators to develop assessment tools.
